Established RIVER CARE Community Taman Molek to adopt the river stretch and organise river cleanup activities. They also established collaboration with Agricode for waste cooking oil collection

Project Title:

Sungai Selangor Downstream Conservation with Community.

Project Output:

Outreached 650 volunteers and local communities as well as successfully beautified Sungai Selangor by replanting wetland plants at river bank.

Adopted the river stretch and developed urban agriculture along the river bank. The community has been active in monitoring the river which led to their win in Kejiranan Hijau 2016 and the first runner-up in Komuniti 2016 organised by MPAJ

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Sustainable Campus

Community Based Conservation: Indigenous People of Seletar and Sungai Lunchu

Outreach 130 participants of local communities with 4 families of Orang Asal Seletar engaged with community edaption.Reduced smell pollution at Sungai Lunchoo.
